This is the same premium quality firewood as our kiln-dried wood, but  air-dried. It's cut to lengths of about 16", and of varying thicknesses. It contains more moisture than our kiln-dried hardwood. Air-dried hardwood takes longer to burn. Air-dried wood is seasoned.

Each barrel at West End Firewood is a testament to our commitment to quality and affordability. Barrels of Firewood are deeply discounted over packaged wood in some stores costing upwards of $90 for the same quantity. These 55-gallon barrels are filled with the equivalent of 10 packages, the 

 packaged firewood sold in stores. An ideal pick for occasional fireplace users, outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy campfires, or anyone who relishes the warmth and ambiance of a fire without the commitment to a larger quantity of wood.

Whether you're planning a small backyard barbecue, a camping trip, or simply want to enjoy a warm evening by your fireplace, our Barrels of Firewood provide the perfect amount of wood for such occasions.

A Kiln-Dried Barrel of wood is equivalent to a "West End Firewood Hearth Warmer" package, sold in retail stores (approximately 10 packages). Kiln-dried wood ignites easily and has low moisture content. All wood is seasoned and tightly packed, providing approximately 7.35 cubic feet of wood.

Air-Dried Barrel wood, not available in stores, contains slightly more moisture content than kiln-dried wood and burns at a slower rate. However, it is still seasoned and tightly packed, offering approximately 7.35 cubic feet of wood.
